 | PBIS When we come back from Spring Break the whole school will be participating in an activity based on the book, Have you Filled a Bucket Today? Teachers will be watching for students who do acts of kindness for others. If a student is caught doing one of these random acts they will put their name on a special BINGO board. All classes wil participate in BINGO game after two weeks and the children who's letter/number are called will win a prize. Please remember to read over the cool tool of the month with your child and sign and return the bottom of the paper. In our class Bear Bucks will be given to students exhibiting Ben's Bs. A class goal will be set of the # of Bear Bucks we think we can achieve each month. We will work toward this goal together and adjust it accordingly after we review our data each month. Please remind your child to be respectful, responsible and safe at school! File: Franklin_Behavior_Matrix.doc High Interest Day and Field Trip We will be going on our second trip to Churchill Woods on Wednesday, May 2nd. Our class will go in the afternoon. We will get a look at how the environment there has changed since the last time we went in fall. Friday, May 4th is High Interest Day. The kids have already chosen the classes they want to participate in, and it should be an awesome day!! SIP and Institute Days Do you wonder what your teacher is doing on the days off? There is NO SIP day in January. The institute day in January is called TECHNO BLAST. Throughout the day teachers attend different sessions on how to bring technology into the classroom. This year our blog as well as the E Binder (Live Binder) will be shared as examples of how we can share our learning with others. Very exciting! I am proud to be able to teach others about all that we are working on in our classroom. |
